State Licensure/Registration or Other Legal Recognition Pathway Requirements

This pathway is available to candidates who hold current legal recognition to practice midwifery in a jurisdiction or under a credential that NARM has evaluated and accepted for CPM eligibility.

Holding a license, registration, certification, or other legal credential does not automatically establish eligibility for CPM certification. Candidates must meet NARM’s general, clinical, examination, documentation, and certification requirements for this pathway.
