AMCB-Certified as a CNM/CM Completion and Award of Certification

The CPM credential is awarded only after NARM has determined that the candidate has satisfied all requirements of the AMCB-certified pathway.

This includes:

  • verification of current AMCB certification;
  • completion and acceptance of the required out-of-hospital and continuity-of-care experience;
  • successful completion of the NARM Exam;
  • current adult CPR and advanced neonatal resuscitation certification;
  • submission and acceptance of all required forms and supporting documentation;
  • resolution of any outstanding application deficiencies, audit requests, or verification requirements; and
  • payment of all applicable fees.

After all requirements have been reviewed and accepted, NARM will issue the CPM credential and notify the candidate of the effective date of certification. Candidates may not use the CPM designation or represent themselves as NARM-certified until NARM has formally awarded the credential.

Award of the CPM credential does not constitute licensure or legal authorization to practice. Certificants are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations applicable in the jurisdiction where they practice.
