AMCB-Certified as a CNM/CM Examination Eligibility
A candidate may become eligible to take the NARM Exam after NARM has reviewed and accepted the required documentation for this pathway.
Before authorizing the candidate to test, NARM must determine that the candidate:
- meets the General Requirements for All Candidates that apply at the examination stage;
- holds current AMCB certification as a CNM or CM;
- has completed and documented the required out-of-hospital and continuity-of-care experience;
- has resolved any deficiencies identified during application review; and
- has paid all applicable fees.
When these requirements have been accepted, NARM will notify the candidate of eligibility and provide instructions for registering and scheduling the examination.
Approval to take the NARM Exam does not constitute CPM certification and does not authorize the candidate to use the CPM designation.
